Since Rylee's birthday fell on a day during the week, May 18, her birthday party was the saturday before her big day. She had a good birthday with some family and friends that came over to celebrate with her. She certainly lucked out and got some super amazing birthday presents that will enjoy all through summer and beyond. She's one lucky girl and scored big with some presents and even some candy from a pinata. She had tons of fun at her birthday party!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

I went to see my Valentine on Valentine's Day and give her her valentine and found out that she didn't go to school 'cause she was home sick. Maybe her special valentine could help her feel better when she can eat 'em. The idea for her valentine came from a blog that I saw it on, not an idea of my own. There were tons of cute ideas out there but as I went to get a yummy candy for my girl I came upon some watermellon sour patch kids. Those went perfectly with the valentine idea I saw. I wrote on a piece of paper "YOU'RE one in a "MELON" Love Auntie Ray Ray" and taped it to the carton of candy. I thought the idea was a cute one and was lucky enough to pass by the candy to use with it. I think she liked 'em and hopefully feels better soon.

When I went to give Rylee her Valentine I just knew she had to make her parents a cute one. I had some extra giggly eyes that I used while babysitting for a friend and so I drew an owl and Rylee colored it and wrote her name on the valentine for her parents. She luckily wasn't deathly ill and was able to color her valentine the best that she could. I think her valentine turned out to be cute for mom and dad.
